QSP (previously QMRP) Training
This forty hour training is a DHS Requirement for all QSP’s hired after October 1, 1999.
Our schedule includes 36 hours of classroom training and assignments to be completed outside of the classroom, for a total of 40 hours. The information covered will include:

Planning, Record Keeping

Community Resources
-
Health and Safety, Medical Issues

Rules and Regulations
The training is approved for 4.0 IACET CEU Credits. The fee is $750.00.

Anyone is welcome to participate in AnixterCenter’s QSP class; however there is certain criterion that needs to be met in order to become a QSP. The Illinois Department of Human Services requires the following:
AND IS ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

a licensed doctor of medicine or osteopathy
-
a licensed registered nurse
-
a certified occupational therapist or occupational therapist assistant
-
a certified physical therapist
-
a certified physical therapist assistant or a graduate of an approved two-year college-level program
-
a psychologist with a master’s level degree from an accredited school program
-
a social worker with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited school program
-
a speech-language pathologist or audiologist
-
a professional recreation staff person with a bachelor’s degree in recreation or in a specialty area such as art, dance, music or physical therapy
-
a registered professional dietician
-
a human services professional with a bachelor’s degree in a human services field, including, but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling or psychology
